Filip Forsberg lives in Nashville

Forward Filip Forsberg has signed a new eight-year deal with the Nashville Predators.
The organization made the announcement Saturday morning.

The Swede was in position to become an unrestricted free agent July 13 when the market opened. However, the Predators did what was necessary to convince him to stay in Nashville.
During the 2021-2022 season, Forsberg amassed 42 goals and as many assists for 84 points in 69 games, establishing personal highs. He tops franchise history with 220 goals.
