After reaching peaks in the spring because of the confinement, the audiences have officially resumed their normal course in Quebec, reveal data from Numeris compiled by the agency’s Deep Blue Canada.
The curve for 2020 the volume of total listening hours per week joined those of 2018 and 2019, last week, for the first time since march.
“Listening to tv stabilizes and returns to a level similar to the previous two years,” confirms Claudia Massaged, advisor, media senior, Research consumer at Deep Blue Canada.

Television youth is also part of the winners. Yoopa, Disney, Télémagino, VRAK and Teletoon have registered an increase of 38 %. The impact of coronavirus on the television viewing in the French-speaking Quebec has not been experienced everywhere in the same way. The increased viewing in Montreal proved to be lower than the increase in the rest of Québec : + 12,7 % vs. + 15.1 per cent.
