LAVAL | An old mechanical workshop automotive has been the prey of a fire suspect early Sunday morning in Laval.
Firefighters were first notified at 7: 33 that a fire had broken out in the old trade dropped from the boulevard Curé-Labelle, in the area of Chomedey.
Arrived on site just a few minutes later, the fire have found that the flames had started to spread in a room on the first floor of the building, which has two levels, has explained the Service de sécurité incendie de Laval.
The flames did not, however, spread beyond this room and were quickly contained. The fire was controlled around 8: 10 am.
No one was on site and no firefighter was injured.
Any door to believe that the fire has been lit outside the building, before spreading to the interior. As the whole thing is suspect, the case has been transferred to the police of Laval for investigation.
