Bernard de Fesquet is at the origin of Parks Clubs in France. He plans to redevelop the approximately 11 hectares of that of Montpellier. Free Midi – GIACOMO ITALIANO

His ambition is great: he wishes, in the long term, to acquire all of the other Parc Club locations, owned by the real estate company La Française, which owns 74& ;nbsp;% of the whole, and give it a new dimension. "There is, on this vast site, a development and construction potential of 200 000 m² of offices, housing and shops", he explains, to motivate his strategy.

A return to basics

Built in 1981, the Parc Club du Millénaire was the first development in Montpellier entirely dedicated to tertiary real estate. It extends over 11 hectares and currently has more than a hundred companies, installed on a total of 40,000 m². This shows the development capabilities that are anchored in the mind of Bernard de Fesquet.

The latter is preparing to buy five buildings: 1, 3, 5, 9 and 16. All are today the property of small investors, whose management is entrusted to Aestiam, historic player in SCPI. For the future owner of this part of the Parc Club du Millénaire, it is a return to basics. At the beginning of the 1980s, he closely followed the issue of the creation of Parcs Clubs in France, on behalf of the Private Bank of Financial Management (BPGF), within which he worked and which has since disappeared.
