Football: a fall for the Sporting Club Sétois, a relapse for the Frontignanais

The first leg of R1 ended, as badly as it had started for Asfac. The nine points collected during the three previous days had reassured, the defeat at home against the bottom of the class is cause for concern. Too many clear chances will have been wasted in a match, once again, well within reach of the Muscatiers.

"They fell back into their mistakes", "taking points from outside is good, but you still have to not offer them at home", & ;quot;they were punished for not knowing how to kill the match, these are the words of the supporters disappointed by the turn of events. Greg Tanagro's men could have been sixth on Saturday evening, but clumsiness decided otherwise. The next home meeting with Balma will be of another caliber.

Premiere for Sète

The Thau derby, between Sétois and Balarucois, kept its promises. The goalless draw at the break reflected the borrowed game of the Sétois, in blue for the occasion. Until then, the Balarucois had been on an equal footing. It was upon returning from the locker room that a skylight, found on a free kick 20 meters from Sentein, illuminated the derby.

What followed was a huge pressure from Sète which broke its teeth against a heroic defense of the "Vert et noir". It will remain in the annals that it was on the banks opposite that the Sétois fell for the first time this season. Sporting remains well ahead in the standings, Balaruc is back.

Bol of fresh air for Mèze and exploit of Asfac II

Paul Laugier's men won at Saint-André thanks to a new hat-trick from Pellegrin. A beautiful operation that the young muscat trees carried out with mastery. They take the podium with Balaruc.

Finally, the Mézois had to maintain a chance of maintaining their position by winning against a rival from Aveyron. At the end of this match, we still have hope of keeping the Club des Cinq next season. We move away for a while from the Musketeers or the Daltons. Beyond this moment of literature, it is the Mézois who breathe!

Asfac/US Seysses-Frouzins 1-2,
Mèze SFC/Saint-Affrique 1-0,
