Trois rencontres étaient au menu concernant les amateurs de football autour du bassin de Thau.
Saturday evening, the Muscatiers played in the round of 16 of the Departmental Cup (read below). La Pointe-Courte had to travel to Baillargues in the D1 championship. And, Friday evening, at the very last moment, we learned that Paulhan II was appealing the decision of the district regulations and disputes commission. The latter had previously decided that the round of 16 of the Maurice-Martin Challenge would be replayed this Sunday, February 18.

Martin Challenge or Champions League ?

The match between the reserves of Paulhan and Stade Balarucois was therefore, once again, postponed… Such a call is proof that this competition bringing together D3, D4 and D5 teams has become a priority objective for clubs, a bit like the Champions League for professionals. When will VAR at district level ? We remember that the Hérault Veterans' Cup was suspended at the end of last season, in part for an abnormally high number of reserves placed during the final rounds of competition . Worrying package

Remains that, this Sunday, the Pointus did not travel to Baillargues, to the current leader who however has one match more than Puissalicon-Magalas. The situation is now desperate, it seems that vacation and rescue operation do not go well together.
