Football: In Vauvert, Beaucaire made experience speak for itself
|On this failed exit of Bouchité (in black, masked), Bouraja, lying in wait at the second post, concludes. MIDI LIBRE – JERÔME MORIN
With greater control and more realism, the Stade took out Vauvert (3-0) who will have learned a lot during this 4th round of the Coupe de France.
In the corridor of the locker rooms, before entering the pitch, Vauvert won the battle of verbal commitment, in the wake of the ex of the house opposite, Khatim Abbaoui. In the stands, too, the FCV supporters won the battle of chants.
But on the pitch, it was Beaucaire who imposed their law (3-0) and validated their qualification.
Despite the defeat, we now understand better why the promoted Vauvert, with a polished game, is co-leader of R1.
Hammouch: ''Beaucaire showed us what the demands of the N3 were''
That said, the Cup is another competition and the adversity of a N3 is no longer the same. ''Beaucaire showed us what the demands of the N3 were'', conceded FCV coach Nabil Hammouch.
Same story from Abbaoui: ''We had opportunities, control in the first half, but we still see this level with the N3, where it is very surgical.''

Well positioned, Carletta's men hurt as soon as they could. Taking advantage, for example, of this missed exit by the FCV Bouchité goalkeeper, in the duel with Bah, and exploited by Bouraja at the second post (0-1, 16th).
FCV had the situations and the Stade, the goals
During the initial 45 minutes, Vauvert had the situations – crushed shots from Chiki (10th) and Bensaid (34th), blocked shot from the latter (23rd), shot too high from Qobaa (40th), and Beaucaire… the goals.
Just before the break, Bouraja scored twice from a penalty after a handball by El Akkari (0-2, 45th + 2).
In the second half, FCV never really had any hope. Pushing hard, in vain. And even ending up being countered, Kuange Makala concluding (0-3, 84th), 1st goal of the season for the rookie.
What delighted Carletta: ''The attackers scored, that's good for the future.'' In the Cup, it will be the 5th round.
