Football: Nîmes beats Avranches 1-0 and leaves the red zone, discover the Crocodiles notes
|The joy of scorer Picouleau, who delivered his team at the end of the game against Avranches (1-0). FREE NOON – Alexis BETHUNE
This Friday, February 9, for the 20th day of National, Nîmes hosted Avranches at the Antonins stadium and won 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Picouleau (82nd). Here are the scores of the Gard winners.
Tao Paradowski (score: 6/10): this is not the match where he had the most work, but he had to be vigilant three times in first period (11th, 24th and 42nd), including the third where he was hit by Manche striker Jean. In the second act, he released balls (68th, 78th) but ended up signing his third clean sheet in a row with a final, quiet save, after a header from Kerouedan (90th+3).< /p>
Hamza Sbaï (6): he had a lot of space in front of him, he tried to devour it and deliver some good centers, with more or less success. Cut off a few Norman counter attempts well. A solid performance, and a starter who asserts himself.
Waly Diouf (5): the master of the air in his area was solid overall, but he could have done without being warned (37th). Another foul in the second period which caused a dangerous Norman free kick.
Formose Mendy (cap, 6): the master of the air (bis) with his accomplice from the central hinge, and from the ground to the & ;#39;image of this authoritarian tackle on Jean (49th). He too, and this has a lot in common with Diouf, could have avoided the yellow card (76th). But above all he prevented the Manche attackers from scoring!
Namakoro Diallo (7): very offensive, the first Croco dangerous, with an overflow and a line serve for Mbemba (3rd). Good balls delivered, risk-taking: the former member of the Rennes training center is more and more regular and fair. And he is on target by launching Mbemba (82nd). A successful and complete match.
Jonathan Mexico (7): very good on the first touches, good on the last, when he managed to find Mbina in good position (57th) then Mbemba with a lethal incursion (63rd). In the middle, it delights more than it pedals.
Mathis Picouleau (6): he worked, ran a lot, and took his first set pieces well, including an extended corner from header by Mexico on the post (7th). He offered himself a lot, too, and was rewarded (82nd) with a goal from the left right in the heart of the area, where we would like to see him even more often.
Patrick Burner (4): the same performance as at Le Mans, unobtrusive, not very visible, one or two offensive sequences, which is far too little for what we have the right to expect. #39;a player who started in Ligue 1. It's starting to date… Replaced by Brahima Doukansy (75th), whose entry was allowed the Mexico-Picouleau duo to play higher. And it paid off!
Freddy Mbemba (6) : activity on the attack front, but he was little found, until this recovery on a service from Mexico, which he must have, like us, seen at the bottom (63rd). But Beuve took the ball beautifully off target. He couldn't score. So, he was the decisive passer for Picouleau (82nd) before leaving in the final moments to applause (entrance of Axel Thoumin, 90th). A gentleman more, the one we were waiting for.
Ismaël Camara (4): repositioned on the right wing, he had few opportunities to highlight, like at Le Mans, often playing with their backs to goal. He must bring more, but we must give him time to arrive. He defends and makes the effort, in any case.
Mahamadou Doucouré (2): still preferred to Mbina at the forefront of the attack, he wasted too much of ammunition (32nd, 34th) and multiplied the bad choices. Offside on a good Nîmes opportunity at the end of the first period, and offside altogether. His coach, Frédéric Bompard, had seen enough and replaced him with Orphé Mbina (note: 4) at the break. NO s''s top scorer was put in a shooting position for the first time, diverted for a corner (57th), and not much more afterwards. He had a hard time showing off.
