A drunk man was arrested twice, on Sunday 29 and Monday 30 September, at the exit of the Monoprix store on Place de la Comédie in Montpellier, after stealing cosmetic products worth between 700 and 800 euros.

He reoffended as soon as he left the police station

The first time, the accused was apprehended by the national police at 8:30 p.m. and taken to the police station. Placed in police custody, he came out the next day with a criminal summons to answer for his actions before the courts.

But the same day, at 1 p.m., he was arrested in the same situation. Once again drunk, he filled his bag in the same department, in the same store.

This time, the individual was brought before the public prosecutor. He is known for having shoplifted at the Carrefour Market store in Port Marianne, also in Montpellier.
