Four concerts will be presented for the 5th Festival Vibrances, from August 23 to 27, at Saint-Andrew's Presbyterian Church.< /strong>
The Vibrances chamber music quartet, made up of violinists Benoit Cormier and Véronique Vychytil, violist Mary-Kathryn Stevens and cellist Blair Lofgren, will be accompanied by guests. < /p>
Shadow and Light
The festival will be launched on August 23 at 7 p.m. with the concert Ombre et lumière where the quartet will perform works by Bach, Ravel, American composer Paul Wiancko and a piece written by violist Mary-Kathryn Stevens.
A concert to be followed by Rêveries (August 24), with violinist Elissa Lee and pianist Philip Chiu, The Intimate Voice(August 26), with soprano Carole-Anne Roussel, Elissa Lee and Philip Chiu and The language of the heart (August 27), with violist Jean-François Gagné and cellist Ryan Molzan.
