This is a new episode of violence in Chemin-Bas-d’Avignon. Four or five men were victims of bursts of gunfire this Tuesday evening, shortly after 8 p.m., in the Chemin-Bas-d’Avignon sector, confirms the city’s deputy for security from Nîmes, Richard Schieven. Three of the victims were hit in the calf or thigh. Two other victims were reportedly more seriously injured. Police officers from the Nîmes police station were joined by municipal police officers. A burnt black Megane car was found in the Poulx and Marguerittes area a little later.
