Freestyle Skiing World Cup: Mikaël Kingsbury wins the moguls event

Quebecer Mikaël Kingsbury delighted his many admirers by winning the Freestyle Skiing World Cup in Val Saint-Côme on Friday.
This is of his 77th career World Cup victory. He edged Sweden's Walter Wallberg (81.69 points) with a score of 85.37. Japan's Ikuma Horishima won the bronze, with a performance of 81.36 points.
Kingsbury, a native of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, was accompanied by his compatriots Julien Viel, Louis-David Chalifoux and Elliot Vaillancourt in the final.

On the women's side, Saskatoon native Maia Schwinghammer was the top Canadian, finishing fifth. The Japanese Anri Kawamura triumphed.
