The fire broke out this Monday, January 8 around 9 a.m. in the Grill house restaurant, rue Maguelone, between the Comédie and Saint-Roch station.

A fryer fire broke out this Monday, January 8 around 9 a.m. in the Grill house restaurant, rue Maguelone in Montpellier, between Place de la Comédie and Saint-Roch train station.

Tram traffic interrupted

The building which houses the business has been evacuated. The firefighters are on site, as well as the municipal police. 

Tramway traffic is disrupted: the Louis-Blanc, Corum and Comédie stations are not served. The Gare Saint-Roch hub is served.  

This establishment was the subject, on December 18, of an administrative closure measure by the prefecture following breaches of food hygiene rules , noted during an inspection. This measure was to be lifted as soon as the restaurant complied.
