The Hérault prefecture has just classified the Gardiole massif as red alert for “fire risk”.
The “fire risk” alert map published every evening at 6 p.m. identifies the areas where the combination of temperature, drought and wind is the most dangerous in terms of the threat of fire. This Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the Hérault prefecture has just placed the Gardiole massif (zone 8 on the map) in red. In other words, access is prohibited and this time, until the end of August, from the outset, state services specify in a tweet on its X account.
