Quarterback Gardner Minshew will start with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, when they face the Baltimore Ravens.
This was announced by head coach Doug Marrone on Monday during his daily press briefing.
The sophomore was behind center at club Florida for their first seven outings of the season, but then suffered a thumb injury.
He was back in the lineup for the Jaguars last week, but Mike Glennon got the start. Minshew was sent into the fray in the second half, however, but his team still fell 31-10 against the Tennessee Titans.
This season, Minshew has managed 65.1% of his passes for gains of 2,033 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was also the victim of five interceptions.
The Jaguars are having a terrible season with a 1-12 record. If the 2020 campaign ended today, they would inherit the second overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
