Russian “Gazprom” will not be represented as a partner of the UEFA Champions League on the streets of Kiev and in the fan zone of the “Festival of Champions” on Khreschatyk street in the days of the Champions League final by results of the reached agreements.
This was announced by the chief representative of the Kyiv city state administration on preparation to the Champions League final Andrey Miroshnichenko.
“We are very grateful for the understanding of all participants in the negotiation processes. On the streets of Kiev and in the fan zone, “Gazprom” submitted will not be” — he has told on a press-conferences on Thursday in Kiev.
Gazprom became sponsor of UEFA Champions League in 2012. In 2018 the contract of the company with UEFA was extended until 2021.
