As part of the program Take to the Air organized by the CPIE Bassin de Thau, outdoor activities are offered throughout the month of August, for young and old.

In August, embark on a discovery of the Thau Archipelago with the activities of the CPIE Bassin de Thau. On the program, many activities are offered for all ages, to learn more about the fauna and flora that surround us.

Meeting local producers

On land, Corrine Fabre invites visitors on August 15 to discover her production of aromatic and medicinal plants and their benefits. On the lagoon side, Mathieu Rouzières, a shellfish farmer from Loupian, opens his doors on August 20 to those who want to know more about how his farmhouse works and the typicality of local oysters.

700 people took part in July

Sporting activities are also offered that are directly related to the environment. On August 14, a navigation on the Ingril pond is planned, with the “biodiversity canoe” activity. Also meet on the 14th, underground, to become a speleologist for an evening. Every Monday, a journey into the heart of the night is organized to raise awareness of the importance of preserving areas of darkness. These landscapes will be told by Sophie Pascual in Agde.
