Gift reading returns for a new edition

On the occasion of the 24th edition of the Gift of Reading program, on Friday, the Literacy Foundation invites the public to to obtain a Quebec children's book, but also to offer one.

The donations will be used for children living in disadvantaged areas.

Each year, thanks to La lecture en gift, thousands of children receive new children's books. This book is often the first new book they receive.

To participate, simply purchase one or more new Quebec children's books and drop them in one of the identified collection boxes.< /p>

Since 1999, 997,805 books have been distributed. At the last edition, 133,406 books were collected.
