Petite-fille de viticulteur, Amandine Alibert a créé “Dites-le avec du vin”, un concept original et digital : des vins bio et locaux, agrémentés de messages personnalisés, à offrir pour toutes les occasions.

Since her early childhood, Amandine Alibert has been lulled by vines and wine. Granddaughter of a cooperator winegrower in Pic-Saint-Loup, she chose in 2010 to return to the origins of her family history and began a career change in wine.

"After obtaining a license “Wine sales and distribution networks manager”, I’ worked in different trading companies and wine estates. Until the desire to create my own wine brand took shape", explains Amandine.

She had been thinking about her concept since 2014: "I had the idea of ​​declaring my love with a bottle of wine but at the time it had been complicated to find a nice bottle with a vintage that I liked. I figured there was something to offer." "Say it with wine" est therefore born from the following idea: to allow people to declare their love, celebrate a birthday or announce good news with a personalized bottle of wine.

Wines from the South

"The wines offered are only great wines from the south of France. And at the same time, I am pushing the concept of wines with a traditional message with a more innovative digital part." On the customer's side: it all starts with choosing the message from around twenty proposals, from birthday wishes to declarations of love to Father's Day. Then, they select their favorite vintage, in white, red, rosé or sparkling. Finally, they can personalize their message with an innovative option: an integrated QR Code to integrate video messages, poems or photos, or even launch an augmented reality animation.

Amandine makes it a point of honor to select wines from the emblematic terroirs of the Languedoc-Roussillon vineyard: “The Pic Saint-Loup, of course, was an obvious choice, as were the terraces of Larzac, with their growing reputation. And for the bubbles, choosing the blanquette de Limoux, the first AOC of Languedoc recognized in 1938, also made perfect sense”, she explains. Sensitive to organic farming, the founder made sure above all to collaborate with winegrowers with whom she shared common values: authenticity, tradition and quality.

She subsequently planned to develop her model: “Today, my winegrowers bottle especially for me. Eventually, I would like to participate in the blending of wines and bottle them myself. While keeping my local suppliers."

A structured path

The launch of Say it with wine was carried out with support from BGE Ouest-Hérault then incubation within the Gigamed nursery in Bessan. At the same time, Amandine obtained a distance learning Bachelor's degree in e-commerce. "All this allowed me to really structure my project." Two years after its debut, Say it with wine sold in France and Belgium. And if, initially, the founder mainly targeted individuals, the interest of resellers in her brand quickly grew.

Among these, wine merchants, delicatessens and concept stores. "The products also find a place of choice among florists and bakers, where they often accompany a birthday cake or a bouquet of flowers." Currently, around forty retailers distribute wines with the message “Say it with wine”. And new features should be released by the end of the year.
