The Frontignan marina hosted the traditional boating festival on Saturday June 1st.
It wasn’t the port party. It occurs later in the summer. But on Saturday June 1, the port of Frontignan was still celebrating as part of the boating festival. An event which allows the curious to try out several nautical disciplines (jet-ski, parasailing…) but also to discover several aspects of this sector of activity.
New and very old boats
There was therefore, around the captaincy of Frontignan beach, a strange jump in time. On the one hand, companies from the Muscatière maritime enclosure offered their boats, with rigid or flexible hulls, brand new. And a few meters further, we came across the traditional boats presented by the Languedoc Gréements association. Units which saw the traditional boats of Muscat row during the day during challenges, but also demonstrations and initiations.
Modern fishing simulators
In the same time gap, the numerous visitors were also able to browse among the multitude of stands offering second-hand nautical objects but also test the modernity of the two fishing simulators offered by the two specialized clubs from the city. In short, something to delight all generations while launching a season where we begin to get closer to the Deep Blue.
