The Cabinet plans to expand the list of drugs in the program “Affordable medicine”.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that the country has a certain monopoly collusion to artificially inflate prices in the country on a number of drugs. The head of the Cabinet said during the hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
Groysman announced that the Cabinet plans to expand the list of drugs in the program “Affordable medicine”.
“There is a crime of collusion to artificially inflate prices in the country on a number of groups of drugs… but for the nearly 300 types of drugs that we launched the program “Affordable medicine” we have started them reference pricing, and the prices on them really dropped… we will expand it… I think soon we can get this situation resolved… there is also a problem. The availability of medicines. Some hospitals hide it: they have, and people don’t know about it,” – said the Prime Minister.
