To face the high temperatures forecast, nothing beats a dip in natural waters, with controlled quality. 51 sites are available to you in the four corners of the Aveyron territory.

As in many other departments in France, Aveyron was placed, as of yesterday, in a heatwave period for a few days. With values that could reach, or even exceed, 38° this Monday, particularly in the west of the department.

These high temperatures call for a beneficial cooling, and swimming is one of the best remedies for the consequences induced by high temperatures. And that's good: the department is rich in water points, lakes and rivers, where one can, in sites most of the time equipped, indulge in the joys of swimming.

According to the 2024 survey by the Regional Health Agency (ARS) on the quality of water in Aveyron, swimming is without health risk in the department. Of the 51 sites, 36 have a quality deemed to be “excellent” and 10 of a “good” quality. The episodes of intense heat will follow one another throughout the summer, so we take stock of the bathing places in Aveyron to find a little coolness.
