Handball: for Bouillargues, it all starts from there
Bouillargues is starting its second season under the name BHNM (Bouillargues handball Nîmes Méditerranée). Eighth in D2 last season, Baptiste Filipe's protégés must start their season on the right foot, this Saturday in front of their Agora crowd, against ASUL Vaulx-en-Velin, narrowly rescued this summer although sportingly relegated to N1.
The suburban Lyonnaises who remain a good memory for the Gardoises, victorious in the match that was needed, last season in the Rhône, to ensure survival.
New season and new data for this start. In preparation, the Gard coach stressed that, given the injuries, he would have a first team until the break, then a second in the second half of the season.
A team still under construction
At present, Filipe must do without pivots Marion Lahcene and Jeanne Bonnard, right winger Candy Jabateh (cruciate ligaments) but also without Clotilde Buzin (center half) and, more recently, Alice Mazel (left wing), affected in the ankle.
The BHNM is still a team under construction, almost entirely recomposed: 10 departures/9 arrivals this summer and only 6 ‘’old’’ remained loyal.
Valiant and resilient against OGC Nice (D1) in the Coupe de France, last Saturday, dominated by seven goals in the end (24-31), the Bouillarguaises are ready for this big fight that awaits them against Vaulx, three points targeted in the purse. Everything that is taken is no longer to be taken.
