HBC Nantes – MHB: Nacinovic uncertain and Yanis Lenne back before the Starligue summit scheduled for Sunday

Le Montpellier Handball, toujours invaincu, joue dimanche (17 heures) chez à un concurrent direct pour le titre national, lors de la quatrième journée de Starligue.
Even though it is still too early to measure its impact, the announced return of Yanis Lenne, Sunday (5pm) in Nantes, on the occasion of the top match of the 4th day of Starligue, is very good news for Montpellier Handball.
On Friday morning, the international winger, who injured his ankle during the last Olympic Games, appeared more dashing than ever. Charles Bolzinger can testify to this. The boy multiplied the sleight of hand and infuriated the MHB goalkeeper on several occasions.
Starligue: the ranking and the program of the fourth day
It will probably be a different story against Nantes, a team that has suffered two consecutive defeats (in Toulouse in the league and in Szeged in the Champions League). A third would be an anomaly. It might even be prohibitive, already, in the race for the title.
“Balanced until the end”
Unsurprisingly, Erick Mathé expects a hot reaction. “A balanced back-and-forth until the end of the match”, sums up”the Montpellier coach, who will once again rely on the defensive foundation of an almost complete squad to raise the challenge.
Apart from Stas Skube, who is nursing his sprained knee, only Veron Nacinovic is uncertain today. “He has a strained back but we have not given up hope of having him with us on Sunday", warns the technician. In case of a withdrawal, the young pivot Matéo Caille is ready.
