For several months in Italy, a mysterious stranger called "Fleximan" on social networks attacks automatic speed cameras at the side of the roads in the north of the country. If the act is condemned by the authorities, it is widely acclaimed by Internet users.
Almost eight months it has been raging: a mysterious stranger, baptized by the Italian press "Fleximan", destroys the automatic radars used to control the speed of motorists.& nbsp;
His mode of operation is always the same: in the evening, he goes to the side of the roads to saw off the radars at the base with a grinder ("flessibile" in Italian, hence his nickname "Fleximan"). Since last May, he has destroyed at least twelve radars in northern Italy, as reported by Il corriere del vento.

These acts of degradation occur in Italy while a protest movement is growing in the country. The speed cameras are considered too numerous and the fines too expensive. For example, for a speeding violation of between 10 and 40 km/h, the ticket costs between 168 and 674 euros. The amount can reach 898 euros if the offense is committed after 10 p.m.
