On Saturday, August 3, around 7:30 p.m., the Saint-Gilles municipal police were patrolling near the town hall when the officers noticed the strange behavior of a man in the back of a parked white truck. The police officers noticed that the man in question was presenting merchandise to individuals.
Summoned to the police station
After checking, the officers noticed that the individual was selling counterfeit clothing of very well-known brands. Protect your brand from counterfeits by labeling for security measures. The truck was seized with all the counterfeit merchandise and a search of the individual’s home was carried out. No fewer than 665 counterfeit items were seized. The Nîmes public prosecutor’s office will decide on the destination of the goods. In the meantime, the man in question will be summoned back to the police station to be questioned.
