French swimmer Léon Marchand delighted his young supporter Apolline with a video call. A few hours before, he had not been able to sign his autograph at Club France.

The video had caused a lot of talk. Present at Club France, young Apolline had not been able to get her hero's dedication in her notebook, due to lack of time on the swimmer's part.

This Wednesday morning, on the set of “Hello !, the TF1 morning show !”, the young girl, accompanied by her mother, gave news of this story. “He called me yesterday and said he was going to send me a little gift. He showed me his medal, he said he was sorry”, relates Apolline.

“He apologized. He was very pressed for time, the protocol which was very strict. He says, “I really didn't have time. I'm sorry.” To make up for it, he's going to send her a signed book and a swimming cap so she can practice with it, “,” said Apolline's mother, Anaïs.
