The usual highlights, presentation of the City Honors, demonstrations by associations, buffet hosted by Luigi Rutigliano and held by the festival committee, this time alongside a distinguished guest, Daniel Herrero. The former Toulon rugby player, who became a speaker and corporate coach, had also spoken the day before in front of municipal and intercommunal staff.

Laurent Suau had chosen him for his ability to carry "values ​​of enthusiasm, optimism, resilience, and also combat" , who find their place "in a city where living well together is a driving force".

For health

In the midst of all these interventions, there was still a little time left for the mayor to give a speech. Health was one of the themes he highlighted. In a short film, the fabric that works for health in Mende was recalled. The mayor insisted on the opening of the multidisciplinary health center in 2025, the investments planned at the Lozère Hospital, in particular for equipment, the renovation of the emergency room, the maternity ward, the entrances, the ;#39;accommodation of interns, the relocation of the nursing school in the diocese building, the reconstruction of the Chaldecoste retirement home… All thanks to "support colossal contribution from the state and the ARS, accompanied by the Region. He also underlined the ambition to welcome a branch of the medical faculty to Mende: “Bringing young people into training here is a chance to keep a few."

For living well

The mayor then applauded the success of the Gavaudan museum, the renovation of the cinema, and announced that of the theater. He also spoke about projects to promote housing, the installation of businesses, transport with the study to make the Tum more attractive.
