Heat, winds, rain… what weather to expect for this first weekend of April in France ?

Après un des améliorations en fin de semaine, les conditions se dégraderont légèrement ce week-end après un samedi exceptionnellement chaud pour la saison. Mais la situation ne sera pas uniforme, une partie du pays connaîtra une nette baisse des températures dès dimanche.

An exceptionally hot Saturday
Saturday promises to be sunny and hot all day in Midi-Pyrénées. On the plains of Roussillon and part of Hérault, the sea wind will bring low clouds and it will be less hot than in the rest of France.
The wind will also blow very strongly in the region since gusts of wind from Autan of 70 to 90 km/h are forecast and more than 100 km/h on the reliefs of the Pyrenees.< /p>
In Brittany, from the end of the morning, the sky will cloud over and bring light rain. High clouds are forecast over the North-West. Furthermore, the sun will be out all day. The wind will blow from 60 to 70 km/h in the West and 60 to 80 km/h from Lyon to Val-de-Saône and on the terrain of the Massif Central.
A veiled Sunday
The sky over Occitania will be cloudy on Sunday, between clearings and cloudy periods. In the morning and part of the day, the sky will remain overcast over Aude and Roussillon, due to maritime entries. The south wind will continue to blow strong. Air rising from the Sahara could dye the sky.
Stormy showers will arrive from the west and the weather will deteriorate from Aquitaine to the northwest of France. In other regions, from ;Alsace to the PACA region via Auvergne, the sky will be cloudy for a good part of the day.
Temperatures will remain mild. The maximums will be lower than Saturday and will range from 14°C to 25°C in the afternoon. It is in the valleys and plains of Rhône-Alpes and in the South of Toulouse that it will be the mildest on Sunday.
