A 75-year-old man suffered serious shoulder injuries following a fall.

This Sunday, March 24, a 75-year-old man suffered a serious fall while hiking near the Soucy river, in the L& ;rsquo;Estréchure, in the Cévennes Gardoises.

Seriously injured in the shoulder, the septuagenarian was taken care of by a team from the intervention group in perilous environments (GRIMP). Finding himself in a steep area, he had to be evacuated aboard a Dragon 34 civil security helicopter.

The helicopter then transported him to the Lapeyronie hospital in Montpellier.
