In Garrigues-Sainte-Eulalie, near Uzès, the Vandeparre family has opened a new luxury hotel with a 400 m² spa. Welcome to the Privadière estate.

Maxime Vandeparre dreamed of a hotel with a view of the sea.  And he found it here in Garrigues-Sainte-Eulalie, 7 km from Uzès and a good fifty km…from the sea! 

"After visiting sixty properties, I realized when I arrived here that I had found my sea view" underlined with a smile the owner we met last April while   the estate was in the middle of construction. A real favorite for this site of absolute calm facing an ocean of vines which undulate until the horizon.  

A 16th century estate which will have known
numerous metamorphoses

Over time, the Mas de la Privadière, which was first mentioned in 1585, will have undergone numerous owners and metamorphoses. The last is therefore its transformation by the brothers Maxime and Hughes Vandeparre into an estate bringing together on several buildings in a single space two restaurants, a luxury hotel aiming for 5 stars and a 400 m² spa. ; in exclusive partnership with the Cinq Mondes brand.  

Gourmet and bistronomic restaurants

After more than three years of work, the dream has become reality: Maison Lavandet, restaurant of chef Julien Lavandet (former chef of La Table de Julien and l' Artémise)    opened in 2022 in the main part (an old sheepfold) rehabilitated.

It offers refined cuisine (14.5 Gault-et Millau), local and seasonal in its gourmet restaurant on the first floor from a kitchen visible from the room and the vast terrace overlooking the signs. Shortly after, BistrO opened, a bistronomic restaurant (with menus created by chefs Julien Lavandet and Benjamin Delille) on the ground floor. as an extension of the bar. 

A spa open to external customers

The estate has 14 rooms all benefiting from a private terrace : 8 luxury rooms,  4 luxury junior suites and  nbsp;2 luxury suites with disproportionate dimensions. A large swimming pool has been created in the garden. All are decorated in a refined style and the range of colors chosen recalls the ocher of the earth and the foliage of the olive trees.

 The 400 m spa² offers a heated indoor swimming pool, a solarium, a sauna, hammam, and cabins. treatments and massages.

Its access is  unlimited for hotel guests and also open to all non-resident guests, upon reservation.

The hotel is in the process of being classified 5 stars. It would thus join the restricted circle of 5-star establishments in Gard: the department has only around ten.
