How to get to the Domaine de Grammont to attend the Palmarosa festival in Montpellier ?
|La ville met des navettes à disposition des festivaliers pour se rendre à Grammont Midi Libre – JEAN-MICHEL MART
Discover the different routes to get to the Palmarosa festival in the castle park at the Grammont estate. The organizers encourage travel by soft and collective transport.
1. By tram
The journey by public transport from the Comédie to the Palmarosa festival takes about 45 minutes.
To do this, you must take tram line 1, direction Odysseum. Stop at the Place de France stop, in front of the Gaumont cinema of Odysseum.
Between the tram stop and the cinema square, you will find Tam bus stops. This is where the shuttle leaves for the Domaine de Grammont, 2733B avenue Albert Einstein in Montpellier. Departures will take place every five minutes from 3 p.m.
2. By car
Palmarosa decarbonizes journeys and encourages carpooling through their partnership with Tribulive.
To find a festival-goer to carpool with, go to the website palmarosa-festival.fr and click on "I propose or I look for a journey". All you have to do is enter your starting point and your arrival point, the date, the number of places available in the car and there you are, an advertiser of a carpool journey. Festival-goers on foot can choose the most suitable journey depending on their starting point.
Spectators with a “regular pass” can access the Circé car park at Odysseum for free, for the entire duration of the festival. Once parked, you can take the shuttle from Place de France (tram line 1 stop) or walk along the pedestrian path.
Holders of a “champagne supernova pass” will have access to the VIP parking lot inside the Zénith, near the festival entrance.
A parking lot near the entrance will be reserved for people with reduced mobility. Access will be granted upon presentation of a CMI card (Mobility Inclusion Card). Do not hesitate to declare your presence using the online form, to benefit from a summary of PMR access provided by Damien, the PSH (Person with a disability) manager.
3. On two wheels
18 minutes. That's the time it takes to travel the 5, 2 km separating the Place de la Comédie and the entrance to the Palmarosa festival. That is half the time needed by public transport and the same as by car.
The organisers have installed bike racks at the rsquo;entrance to the Grammont estate. The racks are available to festival-goers, without reservation and free of charge. Anti-theft devices are not provided, remember to bring your own.
Motorized two-wheelers can park in the main, guarded parking lot of the Zénith.
