Huawei introduced the first device that will run on HarmonyOS
Smart TV Honor Vision will be sold only in China
Last week Huawei introduced earlier secret development in response to the US sanctions, its own mobile operating system HarmonyOS, which would eventually replace Android. Later owned by Huawei Honor sub-brand introduced the first device that will run on HarmonyOS — smart-TV Honor Vision.

Honor has acquired a 55-inch UHD matrix with a viewing angle of 178 degrees, a brightness of 400 nits and 87 percent coverage of the NTSC colour space, and support for HDR10. This is one of the frameless TVs on the market with a screen size of 94% of the useful area of the front panel. The thickness of the product at the thinnest point of 6.9 mm.
For video communication and face recognition of the owner of the TV has built-in Full HD camera that extends from the top of the frame. There is a wireless connection to your smartphone, where you can take calls through Honor Vision, as well as to broadcast content from your phone screen on the TV with the minimum of delay — works with pictures, videos, and games. Also the smartphone can be used as a remote control with a comfortable keyboard and support for voice commands.
Honor Vision works based on a specially developed chipset Honghu 818: 2 Cortex-A73, 2 cores Cortex-A53 and 4-core graphics accelerator Mali-G51. A unique feature of the chip image analysis, based on which selects the most optimal settings for brightness, colour and saturation, lower noise and increased the contrast. The chip is capable of real time processing a video stream with a resolution of 8K at 30 Hz, or 4K at 120 Hz.
CPU power is enough for artificial intelligence technology, and run games from the built-in app store. Even the TV can work with smart home devices, allowing you using special software to manage lights, sensors and other elements of the works including the management of the smartphone.
Buy advanced audio in addition to TV optional: it is equipped with six speakers power of 10 watts each and supports Dolby Atmos. Other useful additions: support converting HD video to 4K technology MEMC (increases the smoothness of the image shown) 5.0 Bluetooth and Hi-Res Wireless Audio. Honor Vision will be sold in China in two versions: Vision and Vision Pro, different amount of internal memory. The cost — and 3799 4799 yuan (13.5 and 17 thousand), respectively.
