Hurricanes: a tattoo that is already aging badly

DAY

The Carolina Hurricanes were knocked out of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday, much to the dismay of a fan who may have been overconfident in their abilities.

Twitter user 'gocanes94' revealed his brand new tattoo on the eve of the fourth game in the series between the 'Canes' and the Florida Panthers.

On his right bicep is a Stanley Cup, a Hurricanes logo and the words “Stanley Cup Champions 2023”.

Of course, Rod Brind'Amour's cast n did not have the expected match and was finally swept away. Matthew Tkachuk gave the Panthers a 4-3 victory by scoring in the very last moments of the game.

The Carolina team's last victory dates back to 2006. Since then, it has participated in the semi-final three times and suffered the same fate each time. The Pittsburgh Penguins (2009), Boston Bruins (2019) and Panthers (2023) eliminated them in four short games.
