“I don't want my son to die for nothing”: Cyrille will continue his challenges in memory of Naël, the young man from Montpellier who died at the age of 12

Naël est décédé le 4 septembre dernier. Son père continuera leurs défis, pour le faire vivre, et récolter des fonds. 

They fought together. And until the end. Until the news broke on September 4th, the day Naël died of a malignant brain tumor at the age of 12. An incurable disease. Naël was doomed. Since the disease was announced in 2022, his father, Cyrille, an educator at Montpellier Hérault Rugby, has multiplied sporting exploits to raise awareness of the disease and raise funds. 

"For him"

Ten days after his son's death, Cyrille announced: these challenges, their challenges, he will continue to take them on. More than ever: "I will come back a thousand times stronger. He left me messages at each stage of the disease. I will do the projects. Naël is in me. I don't want my son to have died for nothing. I will need you again, I will always go higher, always further, always stronger for him."

He has already included the Marathon des sables in April and the Trans-Australia in a year in his program. Naël His goal is to raise funds and donate them. To fight against childhood cancer. And to continue to support Naël.
