The popular program Symphorien will be reborn from its ashes, thanks to an adaptation at the Théâtre du Vieux-Terrebonne. And it is the actor François Chénier who will have the mandate to play the character played in the past by Gilles Latulippe.
“I pinch myself to believe it”, proclaimed the actor of 51 years, interviewed on Denis Lévesque's show.
When he was young, François Chénier also said that he wanted to be the Gilles Latulippe of his generation
“C he is someone I loved a lot and he is someone for whom I have enormous respect, ”says the actor.
The latter remembers writing a work on university, for which he obtained the grade of A +, on the authenticity of Gilles Latulippe by comparing him to other theater directors.

The authors of the theatrical adaptation of Symphorien have already expressed the wish to bring the character back to television.
An idea that appeals to François Chénier, since he judges that the “sitcom” deserves would be a return to the small screen.
“That form will never die,” he says.
