Why did you participate in Marvejols-Mende this year ?

I was keen to do it. Last year, I covered it for the newspaper Midi Libre, and I was frustrated not to have run for the 50th edition. I said to myself “in 2024, I have to do it“. It's done! 751e

How do you feel at the end of this half-marathon ?

I'm super happy to have finished the race, it was my only goal. I didn't set too much time, although I wanted to try to finish between 2 and 2 and 2:30 hours. I'm very proud because my whole group of friends finished the race! It was really great, there were people on the side of the roads to encourage us when it was a little hard, especially at the Col de Goudard and at Chabrits.

There are inscriptions on the ground every year. Do we pay attention to it when we run?

Yesterday, when we went scouting with a group of friends, we took chalk and tried to mark things, but the storm erased everything. This morning, there were 2-3 that made me laugh a little on the course, at the top of the Col de Goudard. If there was one to remember it was the "Here begins’hell", at the beginning of the Col du Goudard. But  ;nbsp;I didn't pay too much attention to it since I knew that no one had marked anything about me.

Is the Goudard pass really hard to overcome?

So, what's good is that it's not regular, so it goes up quite a bit in places, and then there's a lot of noise. nbsp;small passages false flat upright. Psychologically, when we arrive in the village of Goudard, we know that we have a big wall left, but it is not very long. I had done some reconnaissance, so finally I knew where I was, and I managed to manage the effort pretty much as it should.
