Ice cream cake with strawberries

Gâteau à la crème glacée aux fraises

A dessert of homemade ice cream without an ice cream maker really easy to do!

INGREDIENTS

Crust

  • 2 cups crumbs Graham
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • Strawberry jam
  • 15 strawberries, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp water

Cake

  • 2 cups of 35% cream
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 1 jar of sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 to 7 strawberries for decoration

PREPARATION

Crust

  • Preheat the oven to 325° F.
  • Mix all the ingredients.
  • In a springform pan previously buttered, place the mixture and press to form crust at the bottom.
  • Bake in the oven for 8 minutes. Book.
  • Strawberry jam
  • In a small saucepan, heat over medium heat the ingredients for about 15 minutes or until the mixture thickens. Book.

Cake

  • In a bowl, whisk the cream and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add the pot of sweetened condensed milk and, stirring gently with a spatula.
  • Pour the whipped cream over the crust and add the jam, stirring slightly to get a ” swirl “.
  • Cover the cake with a shrink wrap and put in the freezer for 12 hours.
  • Remove from the pan and decorate the cake with fresh strawberries and serve.
