On February 13, Océane, a schoolgirl from the Pyrénées-Orientales, wrote a farewell letter to her mother. Victim of school bullying, this young teenager wanted to end her life.
On February 13, Maire, mother of a 13-year-old teenager, found in a drawer a letter written by her daughter in which the latter said goodbye. That day, the mother of family publishes the photo of the mail on the networks, explaining that they "escaped the worst" and asks that "the institutions" take action and sanction the harassers.
"I was not heard"
"Océane is a shy, sweet, kind and full of life little girl. Océane has been harassed for several weeks now by one of her classmates from college. Insults, bullying, isolation…" explains Marie who had already alerted the Océane establishment on several occasions. This publication moved many Internet users and sparked many reactions.

Setting up a listening cell
According to France 3, the Montpellier rectorate quickly took steps to help the schoolgirl and her family but also the other students . "Exchanges took place between the family and the management of the college during the school holidays. The principal of the establishment received the family on Thursday February 22 in order to prepare in the best conditions for their return to school after the school holidays, this Monday February 26" announcement the rectorate.
