В мексиканской пещере нашли картины индейцев майя

Neither the age of the paintings, nor their exact value has not yet been determined, but scientists have called the discovery the most significant of its kind in Mexico.

Images are on the section length of 15 meters and a height of 5 meters.

“This is not the only cave paintings in the Yucatan, but it is the most important because there are a lot of elements: birds, mammals, crosses, geometric shapes, human forms, and among them — palm print front and back”, — said the author of the discovery, a Mexican archaeologist Sergio Grosjean Abineri.

Grosjean explained that the colors of paintings derived from a wide range of natural pigments and other materials such as red earth, which is known in the local Mayan language of K as ankab.
