In Agde, Cruzy Saint-Chinian Quarante wins in the quarter-final of Regional 3 against Nissan Colombiers

Cruzy St-Chinian Quarante est allé au bout de son rêve !

Rugby union, quarter-final of Regional 3, French championship, Ras Aocsc/Asq (Cruzy – St Chinian) qualified in the semi-final.

What quality of play developed by the two teams on Sunday afternoon!  They doubled and redoubled at the mark, when at the very end, Calmel converted a saving penalty which gave the victory to his team; the most diligent. His teammates start the hostilities with a magnificent breakthrough from Calmel, already, on the right wing, who gives Gonzalez the opportunity to flatten (5-0, 5th). Nissan-Colombier came back five minutes later through Estève (5-5, 10th) before taking the advantage through Ortega who recovered the ball after a penalty returned by the poles (5-10, 19th). Transformation of Maurat (5-12). L’AOC-SC-ASQ came back level just before the break by Teyssier with a converted try (12-12, 40th). The game resumes, the Saint-Chinianais go back in front on a penalty from Mourgues (15-12, 42nd).
The USNC re-mobilizes to perform a try (R. Puech), transformed (15-19, 54th). And a penalty from Soum (15-22, 65th). Teysier, one of the most prominent talents on the playing field, allows his acolytes to come back to within two points of their rivals (20-22, 71st).
