The La Moba recording and rehearsal studio is ready! The culmination of four years of work for the cooperators and volunteers who give their all to the cultural cooperative. “It is operational. It's another string to our bow, with high-end vintage and recent equipment, from computers to microphones,” explains Arnold Métrot, co-manager of the structure.

Voiceover, video clip, training…

The schedule for this new tool for local projects is starting to fill up. Here, an association needs to record a voiceover that has just called to make an appointment. Local groups will come to rehearse there regularly. From Uzès, the singer Faustine is already rehearsing there with her musicians. “The space is modular”, continues Arnold Métrot. For the greatest possible versatility: “Live session, video clip, training, photo capture… We have the equipment and skills to meet all the demands of professional and amateur artists. Everything is equipped, from equipment to musical instruments." Three drums, a piano, a zither, guitars, a mandolin, an organ from the 70s, "in all, we have about fifty instruments. For musicians in creation, this allows to test sounds, ideas". Another advantage highlighted by the La Moba team: it allows musicians to travel light, so by train!

Flexible rules of the game

For the rules of the game of occupying this state-of-the-art studio, the team wants to offer flexibility: “Everything is possible in terms of schedules. We do not offer fixed slots for the year. For night rehearsals, a supplement is charged because one of us must stay on site. Our rates are affordable. Young people can pay with the culture pass." On the creation and recording side, "a dozen musicians and sound engineers are able to provide their experience. Advice, arrangements, artistic direction, the studio team can respond to all projects". This equipment represents a significant investment for the cooperative, of which the team can be proud: "It is in the top 10 of the most beautiful studios in the south-east of France" ! This should inspire the musicians and artists of the region.
