In Biterrois, Agripal Clôtures is setting out to conquer the individual market

Soutenu par le groupe international Dirickx, Agripal Clôtures poursuit son expansion dans l’univers de la pose de clôtures et portails pour les professionnels et les collectivités, et s’attaque désormais à la conquête du marché des particuliers.

The story of Agripal Clôtures is above all that of a family adventure. Created by Bertrand Couronne and his wife in 1990 with a handful of employees, the local company based in Vendres, today with 25 employees, has experienced constant growth over the years. This growth accelerated with the successive arrival of the Couronne children within the company, first Benoit, then Audrey in 2012. "All four , we worked on the development of the company, explains Audrey, the current director of Agripal Clôtures. We have expanded our offering to automation and access control systems, and also focused on external growth by purchasing the company ESPES in Montpellier in 2015."  An effective strategy which allows Agripal Clôtures to open two local agencies in the territory, one in Lattes and the other in Carcassonne, and to see its turnover increase. business grow from 3 to 7.5 million euros in the space of nine years.

Large projects, such as the new Sports Palace in Béziers

The year 2022 marks a major turning point in the company’s history. The activity is split into two distinct branches with, on one side, the installation of gates and fences managed by Audrey, and, on the other, the automation part, taken over by Benoit. "At the same time, we had the opportunity to join the Dirickx group, the leading French manufacturer of gates and fences. In addition to the made in France quality of the products, this alliance has allowed us to strengthen the reputation of Agripal Clôtures with major accounts such as Suez or Veolia." 

Among the company's latest achievements, we find large-scale projects such as the new Palais des sports Béziers Méditerranée, the Lidl logistics platform at La Méridienne, the port of Sète and even a hydrogen plant in Port-la-Nouvelle. Also in 2022, Agripal Clôtures Béziers is moving to Vendres to premises more suited to the new strategic project led by Audrey: opening to the individual market. "We have had strong demand for several years. Thanks to the Dirickx group, we can respond to this by combining our know-how of more than thirty years with professionals and communities with an offer of aluminum gates adapted to individuals."
To make this project a reality, a showroom attached to the agency opened its doors almost a year ago and the first results are positive. Audrey's long-term objective: to transform it into an essential point of sale for fencing and associated accessories.
