Dukes from April 1 will lose not only the status of Royal persons

The government of Canada formally refused to Fund the protection of the Dukes of Sussex due to disturbances of Canadians. Therefore, from April 1, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be without personal protection in Canada.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who decided to partially move to Canada, put our government in front of a unique and unprecedented set of circumstances. Royal canadian mounted police from the very beginning cooperated with officials in the UK on security issues. As the Duke and Duchess are currently recognized as persons who enjoy international protection, Canada has a duty to assist in ensuring their security as required,” – said the Minister of public security bill Blair to journalists CBC News.
