In Cap d'Agde, the medical analysis group Inovie – Labosud has inaugurated its new premises

The group has just opened a new laboratory on the Iconic mail, a few years after leaving the Avenue des Sergents.

Year in, year out, the commercial units of what is now called Cap Shopping, at the foot of the buildings of the Iconic real estate complex, find takers.
The latest arrival to date is that of the teams from the Inovie medical analysis laboratory – Labosud, a group born from the merger of the latter with Biomed 34 and which today has around a hundred sites in Hérault, Gard and Bouches-du-Rhône.

New name but the same face, that of Alexandre Boulier, the general manager, who was not a little proud to welcome employees, elected officials and members of the medical community on the occasion of the inauguration of the new premises, which sound like a return to Cap d'Agde for a company that already operated a center in the past on Avenue des Sergents. “We had been looking for premises at the resort for several months now, because many patients complained that they could no longer come to our center on Rue de Rome, the bus stop having been removed”, explains Alexandre Boulier, who was finally directed to the pedestrian mall next to the Palais des Congrès and the casino Barrier.“It's a new place to live, which gives a beautiful modern and dynamic image of the resort”, he believes. “And then Cap d'Agde still has nearly 8,000 inhabitants out of season. Above all, we wanted to come back and work with the health professionals of the Cap, to reform a real medical community."

Three analysis centers in Agde

And even if it is still as complicated to consult a doctor in Cap d’Agde, at least you can do it without an appointment most of the time, a good dose of patience being advised in this company, as the recent retirements of general practitioners penalize the residents of the neighborhood.

From now on, Inovie – Labosud has three medical analysis centers in Agde – in Cap therefore, but also on rue de Rome and very close to the cinema Le Travelling –, one in Vias and another in Saint-Thibéry.
