The German automaker continues road tests of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class, more recently, the future novelty have been caught in the spy camera lens, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to UAmotors.
As you can see, the prototype is still heavily camouflaged, this hints at the fact that cars are likely to be a little further developed before we will be able to see them on the roads. Under camouflage tape and fake body panels in the front hides a grille reminiscent of the current model, but it will be changed to give the sedan the best aerodynamic performance. You may also notice that the led headlights slightly reduced.
New rear fascia with a modified rear lights will decorate the back of the C-Class, although at the moment the prototypes are still used bulky marker lights, so we are in suspense on new designs.
The new C-Class will be built on an improved version of the MRA platform to reduce weight and create a more robust body. While there is no information about variants of engines or transmissions, while there are prerequisites for a hybrid setup.
To know the truth, we’ll have to wait for a long time. To release the production version of the new C-Class will still be at least a year.
