The oldest elephant in the world Dakshayani died in India on 89-m to year of life.
Local authorities were not able to include the elephant in the Guinness Book of world records, but it became the official holder of the title of “grandmother elephants.”
She was kept in captivity in the Indian state of Kerala and for several decades he participated in temple rituals and processions. But a few years ago, she “retired” ceasing to participate in public events.
In recent years, Dakshayani has become more difficult to move. Everything else in her diet has introduced pineapples and carrots to get the metabolism.
