“Book Arsenal” will be held during may 22-26, 2019 at the Art Arsenal
From 22 to 26 may in the capital Art Arsenal will host the IX international festival “Book Arsenal”. This is reported by the organizers of the festival.
Offers thousands of books, meetings with Ukrainian and foreign authors, autograph sessions, presentations, special projects and exhibitions, fair illustrators.
The focus of the current “Book Arsenal” – the theme of coexistence and neighbourhood. We are talking about different manifestations of the relationship between culture, history and politics of the neighbouring countries: mutual in the literatures, the outstanding figure at the crossroads of cultures and reformatting the current European political landscape.
In the program of the festival is the exhibition project dedicated to the legendary cooperative house “Work of literature”.
A special focus of the festival will be “Veterans ‘ tent” – a special project of Art Arsenal and writers-veterans in partnership with the Ministry of veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
This year a special status in the international program “Book Arsenal” will be Canada, which for the first time will present a special program of meetings with authors and presentations svezheizbranny transfers. And the focus of the children’s program of the festival — Ukrainian authors.
First international festival “Book Arsenal” was held in 2011. Every year, more than 150 Ukrainian publishing houses will present their publications at the exhibition.
The cost of a full ticket – UAH 80, reduced – 40 hryvnia, family – 180 hryvnia, and pass – 300 hryvnia.
