In Millau, pétanque is back in the Parc de la Victoire

For the third year, the Pétanque Festival is returning to the aptly named Parc de la Victoire in Millau for four days.

Despite the thermometer flirting with 32 °C on Monday afternoon, the Pétanque Festival has returned to Millau to the aptly named Parc de la Victoire. Until August 15, the registered pairs and triplets – the organizing team of the Victoria Sport association is hoping for between 150 and 200 teams – will fight it out to lift the title.

A classic that, like last year, is back with its little new feature: the rapidos event open to non-licensees. A way to “welcome people who are in the campsites, especially in this tourist season”. Also democratize the practice and why not reconnect with the illustrious past of pétanque in Millau.
