Pietro Truddaiu, the president of Open Table, invited the team and friends of the association to present New Year's wishes and announce all the events to come in 2024. Thus, around thirty of volunteers and members had found space in the dining room of the premises on rue Richelieu.

His first words were to confirm the hardness of times and to hope for better ones for this new year. Despite everything, he specified that daily efforts are made so that the beneficiaries do not lack anything. " Every morning, we go to pick up goods at the Carrefour Market on rue Painlevé which we distribute in addition to meals. Last year, we served 30,000 meals." The president also recalled that the association has 3 employees and 60 volunteers, including around twenty who work every day. take care of meals, clothes, showers, and the domiciliation service. In addition, for two years, other activities have been offered: musicals in the courtyard of the association and Sundays in Richelieu at Entraide Gardoise.

"A new project is being studied: living together in Richelieu, and not just with the poor or in difficulty. Among other events, the Neighbors’ Day will take place next June with around ten other associations. And then, there is this big project of creating a social and solidarity grocery store in the neighborhood; various actions carried out on parenthood; the appointment of a mediator to, in particular, help families assert their rights; the installation of a digital workshop to allow people to carry out their procedures on the internet… Without forgetting the establishment of a health check-up thanks to a retired doctor and two nurses who will be on call every 15 days.&amp ;quot; After unrolling all the new releases of the year and the next releases to come, Pietro Truddaiu invited everyone to come and raise a glass of friendship.
